Description The symbols of the Passion, the cross, the spear, the sponge, the nails, the crown of thorns in the hands of the Archangels Gabriel and Michael, in an icon of the Virgin and the Child. The original painting is attributed to the hagiographer Andreas Ritzos, in the fifteenth century, whose works are found in Italy and Patmos. The icon is exhibited in the Byzantine Museum of Athens.

On the moving leaves of the triptych St. George and St. Demetrius are depicted on the top and St. Catherine and St. Nicholas at the bottom, with the same brushwork as the central image.
