VIRGIN MARY ENTHRONED

Description Source of inspiration for the hagiographer was the original image of Mary Pantanassa, located in the Holy Monastery of St. John the Theologian in Patmos. The picture was painted by Andreas Ritzos (lived at the end of the fifteenth century) from the Cretan School. His works are exhibited in Patmos and Italy.
