Description Original copy of a Russian icon, known as the Virgin of the Seven Sorrows; seven swords aimed at the heart of Mary, four on the left side and three on the right, symbolizing the pain she experienced watching her Son, at the time of the Crucifixion.

Aged silkscreen icon with colored background on natural wood; the halo of the image is silver plated, locally gilded and has been decorated with Swarovski crystals.
