Description The original work of the icon of Saint Stefanos is located in the Holy Monastery of Saint Stefanos on Meteora (14th, 15th century). Saint Stefanos, one of the most distinguished deacons, was full of faith and the gift of eloquence was bestowed upon him by the grace of God. He performed many miracles by the power of the Christian faith. He dedicated his life to the preaching of the Gospel and to charity. He was stoned to death by the Jews, and even then he asked forgiveness from God for them.
