Description
Icon of the Virgin Mary, which is dated back to the 15th century; the Christian tradition connects this picture with the constant supply to the weak, to those who suffer and are in need of love, protection and support. There are reports that it used to be a part of the Monastery of the Kardiotissa Lady, on the mountains of Dikti.
Silkscreen icon in carved wood with fadeless metallic frame; the icon is decorated with enamel and is locally gilded.
